No Moderation in Deliberation No Moderation in Deliberation
The whole concept is exciting in that each song is enigmatic and catches your attention in bits and pieces. There are many musical phrases that stick in your mind and never seem to leave, no matter how long between plays. The lyrics are also shreds of memories and thoughts that instantly bring pictures through the music into subliminal nuances in timbre and timing. It is order bordering on chaos held together by the tightness.

I love this album. It was the first music Andre Martins introduced me to. I listened to it over and over for two months until I discovered Andre Martins is B Fachada! The band had great potential and I am sorry there are only two albums before Andre left the band and the name and line up changed. It was really good indy rock fusion.
  7. A Rabbit's Radio Actively Playing
    by Strange Coats
Thankfully the song is 5.33 minutes of sheer musical nirvana. The lead in bass line is smooth and pulls you right into the awesome drum solo which is the perfect juxtaposition into the sweetness of one of the most beautiful three guitar melody soooo sweet. How could anyone not love it? It is put together by excellent musicians playing brilliant music that just takes you out of this world for a while.

Am discovering this brilliant Portuguese artist. He is prolific and original. Although he has passed through many phases, each is to be cherished and will remain timeless.

The production on this album is sophisticated, polished, and very beautiful. I like the piano which is heavily used in some tracks. The music overpowers the lyrics which in some cases is appropriate. It is astonishing how intricate the music blends to seem organic. This is a very powerful album from an accomplished composer singing his own works in Portuguese.

cannonball (ao walter) cannonball (ao walter)
This is cerebral exercise not for easy listening. Experimental jazzy dissonances create an atmosphere of excitement and edgy pleasure. Unresolved chords and cadences make the listener work to understand but the pinnacle for me was cannonball which is truly brilliant.

canção da mimi canção da mimi
This was the first commercially successful album for the very young but misunderstood B Fachada. While the music is really good there was a mix-up in the production and was released in a rather raw way kind of like the basement tapes of Dylan etc. A must have for Fachada fans it held all the promise that Fachada has delivered over the next ten or eleven albums. Some might like it more than the polished diamond of Viola Braguesa X
  19. o fim

    boa nova boa nova
It is hard to have a favorite track on this album. Every track is perfect in its own way. Starting from the beautiful cover until the last note is played, o fim is a classic.
