  2. The Collective - Volume I
    by Civil War
A fantastic collection of stoner/grunge rock from the UK. Blow is a stand-out track by Psychlona, but all the tunes are great -nasty, gritty, raw and real.
  3. Three Minutes to The ground
  4. Defiant
    by Walter Mmari
  5. Bass Heaven
    by Hidefumi Suzuki
I run out of superlatives to describe this Japanese guitarist/producer. His arrangements are always so well crafted and this track is no exception.

  11. Rawness
    by Trenton Lundy
Always impressed by Trenton's funky chops. Great moment here when the lead guitar kicks in. If you dig funk, Trenton has you covered. Eleven out of ten!!!!
  12. Rise From The Ash
    by Boon Suzuki
Such a beautiful track, with a serene acoustic guitar intro that kicks into a customary and typical Boon groove. Highly recommend this one.
  13. Blackout Transmission
    by Duke Of Vandals
  14. Self Destruct (feat. Mickey Factz & DJ Kanganade) [Prod. SkySplitterInk]

  15. The Last Shred of Breeze
    by Hidefumi Suzuki
I have been a fan for some time. Hidefumi's fantastic guitar tone and soaring arrangements always leave me breathless. In his modesty he calls himself an 'amateur guitarist'!!! There is nothing amateur here. His lines are always tasteful, his tone always just right, and in fact many pro guitarists could learn a thing or two from him.
  16. H.R V.I.P
Mr Very Important Who Explains Everything Mr Very Important Who Explains Everything
This unusual and beautiful music. I like the use of the spoken word (English and Russian) and poetry. Haunting and slavic. Fascinating instrumentation. The Russian language vocal is enchanting here on Mr Very Important...the various flavours of spoken and sung Russian are outstanding on the whole collection. And it's sustained throughout by original and hypnotically beautful music, like no other. If you know some Russian (or even if you don't), this is a treat.
  17. Writ of Passage
    by The Revenant
It's great to hear that amid all the EDM and Hip Hop saturation Rock n Roll is alive and kicking out there. I love Rock Your Socks Off. It's got great guitar tone, tight rhythm and a vocal that sits perfectly in the track. Rock on 🎸
  18. Deep
    by Toyo
  19. A Single Drop
    by Soundphaser
Beautifully sustained ambient opening, which makes the point where the drums kick in all the more dramatic and effective. Add a dash of spoken Japanese from Toyo, a soaring soundscape and a coda culminating in water, and you find an awful lot in a single drop.
  20. Due North
    by Walter Mmari
Short and sweet. A haunting string line rising and falling like a hymn over a rhythmic heart beat that says Africa calling. Personally, it evokes memories of the Transvaal.
