The Fall Of Home The Fall Of Home
LC! continue to be the voice of a generation, for the freshers classes of the mid-noughties who are now facing anxiety and uncertainty, struggling to cope going into their 30's. But defiance is still here from the cursed and condemned millennials, the likes we've not seen since Romance is Boring. Nonetheless, The Fall Of Home might just be the most tender track they've ever written, and one of the best homesick-songs of recent years.

  6. To All Of You
    by Syd Matters

One of the loveliest songs i've ever heard.

by How to count one to ten
    00:00/00:00
    parade parade
Makes me hungry for much, much more of this kind of thing from Asia. Wonderful math-rock that is much more soothing on the ears than most European white-boy aggressiveness seen elsewhere in the genre.
  9. Heirs
by And So I Watch You From Afar
    00:00/00:00
    Tryer, You Tryer, You
Another strong release that, perhaps not my favourite, still sees the band taking great strides. Best album closing track to date - love it!
  10. Sines

    Harmonia Harmonia
Amongst the best all-time post rock bands. Long awaited album that incredibly lived up to the hype and anticipation - big time.
  11. Helium Head
    by Mutoid Man
    00:00/00:00
    Scavengers Scavengers
Brilliant metal that doesn't make an embarrassment of the genre or its fans, which feels like a rarity these days. Exciting, dirty, fun.
  12. Hermosa - EP
    by The Miracals
    00:00/00:00
    Cala Cola Cala Cola
One of the best surfer beach-life releases i've ever come across that distills west-coast summer in to an incredibly concentrated, effective, dense EP.

Probably still the most fun, energetic and enjoyable instrumental math-rock/post-rock album out there.
