Eidolon popped up on a Spotify playlist and I was hooked instantly. The rest of the album was every bit as good - dark moody vocals supported by lush instrumentation.
Stunning record, but Galway especially just tugs at my heartstrings. The line “it’s not the crowd that’s in gig, but the gig that’s in the crowd” stopped me in my tracks first time I heard it.
