I would compare this to NO-FI/SCI-FI's IM CAT albums. It's a mix of unconventional jams, and video gamey sounding tracks. But instead of 8-bit/mario paint sounds, we get something that either sounds like it was for the N64 or PS2. Worth a listen. :)
As a fan of PLMP, I noticed there's a huge quality shift in this album compared to her prior lofi works. We're greeted with quirky lyrics and droney vocals as usual, but surprisingly talented Residents' esque guitar riffs and fun midi drums. Very similar to late 90s early 2000s Residents albums like "Demons Dance Alone."
Drumsdullsville is easily the best Petunia Liebling Macpumpkin album, and ends on such a beautiful note that Im always shook after hearing it.
