David Tolar has a "sound" but the songs are all different. Influences I hear are a mixture of progressive rock bands and post Beatles. The production is incredible. I hope to aspire to this one day. I hear ELO, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull without the flute, Todd Rundgren/Utopia, and lots more! Tolar's voice has a Tom Petty quality if he was a progressive art rocker. I do hear David Bowie as well, both in vocal style and songwriting. Haunting!
