I shred mountains and listen to doom sludge produced by noisy amps such as Orange, Sunn, Laney, Blackstar, Soldano, etc. The fuzzier the buzz, the better. Love great riffs.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately.
The whole album is like riding a roller coaster that emits a lovely buzz saw sound. The best track is saved for last. Make some coffee and put this on. You'll love it too.
I love this album due to it's oppressive heaviness. I understand fully that what I'm about to write is counter-intuitive; however, the music on this offering relaxes me into a pensive state fueling visions of The Badlands with howling winds and wolves. This is fantastic doom-work for pensive moments of somber reflection. I'd encourage anyone to listen to this when the mood arises. It's a 3-song journey into one's soul. Grinding, heavy, wildly over-driven, yet without sounding muddy.
This is fantastic, actual doom metal to the fullest. I’ve been listening to their work for 5 hours straight now, and I find it thoroughly great. Favorite track is “Mirror of Souls.” If you love doom, then you’d be remiss to not enjoy this album. Give this a good listen on a hi fidelity system or a quality set of headphones and drink this in.
Next level riffs. This is one of the most creative examples of riffing that I've yet encountered. I have to keep my language atypically superlative here, because the material demands it. Listen. Enjoy.
I love it for the low end tones from their absurd amp collection. I'd describe this a a "Belgian-draft-horse synchronized-marching-party." When you crank this album loud and max your subwoofer's bass and phase, you will shake your home. A lot.
The riffs on this album feel like getting hit with a Peterbuilt slamming into me at 75 mph. I have a decent HiFi system, and my Denon PMA-600NE has ripped the paint off of my walls, and left me bald. The riffs are so heavy and melancholy, that I always have this album in heavy rotation in digital and on vinyl. Buy this, if doom metal is your flex. This is a go-to album.
