  15. Constellation
by Duncan Chisholm & Donald Shaw
Aware of Duncan via Celtic Connections over the years but not fully dialled into his immense canon of work. However, it's really over the last 18 months or so when he's posted so many tunes and videos on social media which have been absolute sustenance for the soul. Having bought the Affric and Sandwood albums I am an utter convert. He is a genius. And this latest offering is hauntingly beautiful. Duncan Chisholm is so so special...all power to you man, love, love, love xxx
  16. Fatal Mistakes
    by Del Amitri
Loved the Del Boys for many years since their very first album and single and saw them live at the Fleadh on Glasgow Green in '93(?). Also once star-spotted Justin getting into the back of a Ford Fiesta outside Harry Ramsdens in Glasgow. They are and always have been superb and this album is long overdue. Great songwriting, relevant now as ever. Big Love to you all

  19. As The Love Continues
    by Mogwai
  20. Lay My Heart
    by Rachel Sermanni
Was not very aware of Rachel Sermanni prior to Celtic Connections 2021 (online!) as was really taken by her voice and performances. Tender committed performance and more powerful because it - this is an endearing message of hope and connection beautifully delivered. x
