It's this song that hooked me forever to the WHOLE album. The song really gives a moment of solace and tranquility, and it's really special when you hear this enchanting voice for the first time in Tartarus.
A VERY nice evolution from it's predecessor in Sounds of Tokyo-To, giving it a nice rough edge to the more underground scene.
I highly recommend you to play this track during the late hours, out in the streets.
This was a toss up between this track and "New Home". Where as New Home brings a warm welcome to the whole album, Brotad and NoteBlock made this track so good.
Somebody make some lyrics to this track, y'all. <3
This song really brings back home the theory of "Arceus came from the light and created all Pokémon", and paired with the cinematic that was included in the special HGSS event, this only brings things more closer to home.
Funk Fiction gives always an extra "umph" to existing tracks (such as this one). And it really brings home the party aspect of winning a battle.
It also gives that perfect club vibe from the early 00's.
The depths - pun unintended - of this track is really putting out a mood that I deeply connect to. I really love how this has been executed and I am glad that there are more awesome tracks like this one.
A perfect feel to the event of Diving in Hoenn; the atmosphere of the feeling where time nearly fully slows down to a halt, the copious amount of sea life swimming by...really, it fits how it was when you were 8 in Hoenn.
This rendition of the battle track really gives it more "gravitas" to the whole feel of an outcast that is doing their best to be the baddest there is (which, down deep, he's a softie and we love 'm). The track gives emotions free of Guzma and what he's dealing with as the battle moves onwards.
What I REALLY like about this track is how a brand new track of the Sonic Franchise (game only, even) got transformed in such a beast of a remix is beyond me.
