I'm a sucker for Technical Death Metal, Sexy Fret-less Bass lines, and well done Melodic Death Metal (The Swedish/Finnish Styles, not American Melodeathcore!). I am not a fan of redundant, overly long breakdowns or chug chug. I also enjoy Progressive Death Metal, some progressive metal and pretty much anything that impresses me musically without being mindless guitar wankery. No vocals required.
