    This album changed my life.
  2. Decadence
    by Wood Spider
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
C'est La Vida Fuerte C'est La Vida Fuerte
Loud, sloppy, and tons of fun. This record is nothing short of phenomenal, one that I always find myself coming back to explore. Wood Spider shows off a surprising emotional range that exceeds the expectations of freak folk/polka punk/whatever you want to call it. It's varied, well crafted, well written, thoughtful, thoughtless, cathartic, and unforgettable art. Turn up the volume and don't look back.

    if i'm if i'm
I've spent a lot of time with this album. Few records have touched me emotionally in the way 'shallow' continually does. Every track unfolds beautifully and seamlessly as it heals wounds and submerges you into a deep, lush dream that you never want to wake from. The melancholic compositions activate strange emotions and their peaceful textures lift your consciousness entirely. Needless to say, this is truly an honest, highly emotional masterpiece that I simply cannot recommend enough.

Phase I Lexical Analysis Phase I Lexical Analysis
I never thought 8 Bit Weapon would be able to beat Vaporware Soundtracks 2.0 but, with this absolutely stunning piece of sub-culture art, they did. I really hope there is a Vol. 2 because this is a perfect example of how chip-music is not just a gimmick, but a beautiful genre all its own. Do your imagination a favor by closing your eyes and drifting through this 8-bit galaxy of a record tonight.
  5. Adagio for the Blue

    Cook Cook
Some delicious jazz. Delicious, dark, friggin perfect jazz. Gets even tastier past midnight. And if you add fog or rain? Bliss. Pure melancholic bliss.
  6. Pagodes
    by Jono McCleery
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Since I Since I
Very unique. Very good. McCleery juggles talent and brilliance annoyingly well here. It's one of those records where, if someone you show doesn't like it, their tastes are simply not to be trusted.
  7. In Portuguese

    In Portuguese In Portuguese
Tropic. Jazzy. Strange. Unique but not pretentious. Hello Ocho crafts real humble, feel-good music that even normal people can enjoy. Take the scenic route with In Portuguese on and you'll understand.

    Sweat House Sweat House
Some seriously sick, original stuff here. Equals is one of those bands that crafts their sound so well, with such flawless range in tone and style, that they are unskippable.
  10. Wherever It Is
    by Somewhere off Jazz Street
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Sun Gone Down Sun Gone Down
Noir Jazz with electronic elements. Yes, its a thing, and Somewhere off Jazz Street absolutely nails it here.
