    Older Jug Older Jug
I'm a huge fan of Robert's music, and this feels like the deepest he's gone into his own soundworld in it's most unfettered state. An enthralling and engaging album, that definitely rewards great headphones and close attention!
  18. Bombay Makossa
    by Ranjit Barot
    00:00/00:00
    Third World Third World
Loving this a whole lot - I'm a huge fan of Etienne's vocals too, which are v. prominent here (a thing you'd already know if streaming wasn't limited to one track - which is a shame, because hearing the whole thing would convince a lot of people...) Anyway, it's a lovely record, a long way from the mainstream of what's implied by 'fusion' as a term these days... but if you don't want to take my word for it, you'll have to find another way to hear it before buying...

Fabulous artist makes fabulous record. Returning to form is way bigger news than being consistently interesting and vital for almost 20 years. The added ingredient here is Andrew's fascinating collection of co-writers. A vital addition to an already fantastic catalogue.
