Mark Rydyger continues to deliver with A New Sun Rises. Crisp and airy, this same freshness takes me back to a childhood mindset of a world weird and unfamiliar. Subtle nods to BoC and Autechre (the title track wouldn't sound out of place among In Cuna Bula) and of course a vigorously beating 80s cyberpunk heart at its core. Holon has become my go-to for the new ambient electronica.
