By far the most nuanced, emotional, and sonically dynamic record from LIM3S L3MONS to date. "The Boy With the Wild Imagination" preserves the lo-fi aesthetic of his earlier work, while showcasing a heightened degree of artistic confidence and raw humanity only hinted at in his past three releases. Distrust, tenderness, and yearning are all on full display. And who would turn up their nose at a little Elliott Smith tribute?
