YES, YES, YES. Let me start by saying Charly Bliss is a very original band whose music stands on its own. That being said, they occupy the same musical headspace for me as alt-pop pioneers like Letters To Cleo, Plumtree, Nada Surf and even Pavement. If you told me "Guppy" came out in '96 I'd believe it (and I was listening to this type of music back then). The music is romping and dreamy and the vocals/lyrics are fun and smart. When Eva Hendricks goes from her mumbling shoe gazer musings to that ripping scream, I could just die. Charly Bliss, you guys rock.
