I was a fan of Vvilderness’ previous album, Devour the Sun, and was surprised to see that I had missed the release of a new album. Expectations were set fairly high going into my first listen. My expectations were completely blown away! Front to back this album is amazing! Track after track of perfectly balanced juxtaposition of beautiful folk elements and harsh black metal elements. I am going to have to re-examine my top albums of 2020 list!
