  1. Transistor: Original Soundtrack
    by Darren Korb
    Paper Boats Paper Boats
Great video game music, with some wonderful vocals! I love Paper Boats, it's such a beautiful, touching song. Music made Transistor one of the best games I've played and now I can listen to it without the game. Pure joy!
  2. Waves (Collector's Edition)
    by Bitter Ruin
Love Gone Left Love Gone Left
I love strong female vocalists. The woman singing on this album is one such. It's rare to find such a high-quality Soprano. She sounds like a flute, but in a very good way!

Quite aside from that significant point, the music is very well written, fun and often touching.

Oddly, the cat also likes this album. Puts him right to happy, contented sleep.
  3. Skyscrapers & Helicopters
    by Jody Ellen
    Punch Punch
Great mixture of various styles of Rock. It'll make you get up and dance for one song, then bring tears to your eyes with another.

There are some truly wonderful guitar bits in this album!

Wish I could pick two favorite tracks. Punch is great, love the guitars in that one, but Waiting tugs my heart strings hard every time.

If I could include a third favorite...My Last Mistake has one of the best openings I've ever heard on a song (again, it's the guitars: so good!).

  5. Mischief
    by S. J. Tucker
Salad of Doom Salad of Doom
I'm no fan of leafy greens, but Salad of Doom is hilarious. I love that song! "NOM! NOM!"

  7. Narratives
    by Nathaniel Johnstone
    Baba Yaga Baba Yaga
Baba Yaga is one of my favorite mythological characters. She's got her own theme song now! Also, Red is a great, twisted out-come for the story of Little Red Riding Hood. And what's not to love about Frog and Toad? "FRIENDS! Not enemies!"
  8. The Antikythera Mechanism
    by Nathaniel Johnstone
    Stone Woman Stone Woman
This is an awesome album. It's got Greek Mythology, Steampunk and the awesome vocals of Dogwood! Snugglefish is hilarious. "Release the Kraken!" My favorite character from myth (poor, poor Medusa) has her own song, even! What more could you want?
  9. Any Moment Now
    by Nathaniel Johnstone
The Medical Term The Medical Term
So many good songs in this one! Very relaxing to listen to.
  10. Persephone Is Dead, Long Live Persephone!
    by Dogwood
    Pygmalion Pygmalion
Dogwood is the very best singer I've ever heard, bar none. She's got an amazing vocal range, with absolutely perfect portrayal of emotion for each song. To give some context, my previous favorite was Norah Jones. Dogwood makes her look like an amateur.
  11. The Mother Matrix
    by Nathaniel Johnstone
    Little Star Little Star
Good high-energy music, with some great vocals from Dogwood.

I also recently found this album is great to have in the background while playing Terraria. ;-)
