This artist slinked into my life supporting Lucy Dacus at a free gig in London Town. See it's worth going out sometimes. Great voice with a rootsy folky quality but also Texas all the way through. Also the guitar is drenched in emotion. It's great so I bought the vinyl ❤️

    Jamie's Got A Baby Jamie's Got A Baby
Just hearing the track 'Jamie's got a baby' until the whole album is released next week, but it's great.

Piano and Cello accompany an unmistakably Finks-style song, funny and poignant, emotionally engaging, great arrangement and recording.

    I love it.

Such a great voice, great songs. The album starts with more upbeat numbers but what makes the album so great are the ballads and lower-key songs. I will be looking for this on vinyl.

Really great love this. Good for playing loud. Sure that Walter Matthau got a mention somewhere? Good. Very playful and diverse, some songs like 'Pointy horns' are out and out rock tunes that will take you to Whiplash City, 'Creep heart' is genius pop, then the punky experimental songs work their magic - don't think any songs are over 4 mins. It's a fun and exciting ride!

I dont know why Milk! music is so good. It's doing my head in a bit to be honest. Is it because they dont use computers to record? Maybe they do anyway, but it all sounds so real, authentic, voices, guitars and drums on a tape? I dont bloody know but its great and getting better and better. Thanks!

This is a brilliant recording by a man called Oliver Mestitz who is singing his own songs and playing acoustic guitar. There are some great vocal performances and harmonies by others too, as well as fiddle, banjo and possibly accordion. Seems lo-fi at first but I reckon after a few listens there's alot going on
