At the Gates takes you to a fast energy trip without compromise, but enough melodic nuances to breathe. Even with some creative gaps, everything fits together. The sound, the power and the beautiful cover art by Kristian Wahlin. Too rough for todays radio-metalheads though. Pure instrumental energy!
