Thingy has probably impacted my life more than any other band. The "Songs About Angels, Evil, and Running Around on Fire" album expressed my darkest feelings better than I ever could. the way I structure songs, write lyrics, and experience feelings are all intrinsically tied to this band. I am so grateful that Elea Tenuta shared her voice and talents with us in her years on earth. My life is substantially better for it. My heart breaks for her family and friends and I send my best wishes.

spiritual, weird, pretty and fun all at once. and clarinets are never bad. and the vocal harmonies remind me of the band slapp happy - a very high compliment.

makes me feel like, well, a younger me... but without any of the embarrassment.

esoteric, weird and fun. so much avant-garde music forgets the fun. growth spert doesn't.

kyle takes simple riffs and melodies and implants them in your brain. don't go no don't go is one of the best songs i've ever ever ever heard.

mostly old-school porch swinging folk music with a few modern references and feelings. lo-fi in all the right ways.

this is really good zoning out music. and it's NOT boring.

one of the best random bandcamp discoveries i've made. beautiful vocals. simple and effective music. ordnance st will stick in your head for days.
