Well worth the wait. Terrifying and cinematic.
  8. Echoing Screams of Madness and Delusion
    by Crushing the Scepter
A creeping, chaotic maelstrom of an album. Grips you with fear and uncertainty and doesn’t let you go. Excellent!

    𝕮𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖔𝖘𝖆 -𝔯𝔢𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔡 𝕮𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖔𝖘𝖆 -𝔯𝔢𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔡
Triumphant and devastating in equal measure. The thick haze of guitar distortion is deceptive, and you can hear these ghostly melodies and harmonies call out from behind the massive riffs. The drumming is superb and keeps you guessing, constantly shifting underneath the relentless tremolo picking. This is a band to watch for sure!
  10. Footsteps
    by Human Figures
    Humility Humility
Liminal and lonely and misty. The negative space between each instrument and each note invokes a warm hypnagogic atmosphere, tinged with a fluttering anxiety. Excellent album.

A cold, brooding and bloody gem. The sounds are as dank as the crypt and anxiety runs high in every piece, as if you were being watched.

    by Maiden Hair
The Putrescent Infantry The Putrescent Infantry
Having listened to countless DS projects over the years, Maiden Hair stands out even amongst the old classics in the genre. The attention to detail with the use of samples helps each piece flow into the next, and a darkly cinematic voyage begins to take hold in your mind. The synth tones are exquisite and each piece is varied in its emotional scope - from the dire, wounded majesty of “Mercy Dagger” to the eerie and triumphant crawl of “In The Forest Ov...” Can’t wait to see what comes
