As would be expected, the production is top notch: a layered, pristine journey. But the melancholy it evokes is beautiful, cathartic and otherworldly. I revisit this track time and again. Reminds me of my experiences with Vordhosbn and Mount St Michel + St Michael's Mount by Aphex Twin. Different energies and the latter two are more ambitious, but similar melancholic beauty.
