If you enjoy Sloth Metropolis, this live LP is an essential listen. I found the ambience and performance to be every bit as engaging and exciting as their studio releases. These guys have an extremely tight prog rock sensibility, and never disappoint. They’ve traveled their own path, musically, and I for one, appreciate and applaud their unique, daring, rock opera style. They’re amazing!

BOOM! This album by rifle is volcanic. Dim the lights, breathe deep, and pass the pipe. These irresistible songs, with their rolling hypnotic grooves, are truly satisfying. If the band’s goal was to achieve an early 70’s hashish-laced classic, they succeeded. Rifle’s fuzz-drenched alpha sound is a bad-to-the-bone flight of heavy rock, stripped of pretense. It’s rhythmic, other-worldly, deep, and expansive. Well-produced, the album balances hardcore tradition with innovative brilliance. A gem!
