While underrated compared to his underground counterparts, such as Kill Bill, Rav, and Scuare, Midas’s tracks are brimming with life. I can safely say that in the indie rap scene, he is one of my personal favorite producers.
Rav, Bill , and Scuare have a unique talent to capture slices in time. Solar Flare captures sunset in its relaxed glory while Skin has the feeling of an introspective walk at dawn. While the cold bitter thoughts about life do wash over you, the heat of the coming sun gives you a reason to continue.
