Excons are an electric piano four piece rock band, playing and self releasing material since 2015. All four have played in other bands, but John played in the indie-rock band Fruit Bats when he lived in Chicago. Excons have been playing around the Carolinas and are now supporting the release of the CD/LP Sea Shanties that was engineered and mixed by Julian Dreyer at Echo Mountain in Asheville.
