Since her early days with Tricky I have been a huge fan of her melancholy hypnotic vocals. Loved her previous solo albums. They are always edgy, creative, unique.
The new album is excellent but the song “Rain” really got me in a flood of tears. Pure poetry, pure emotion, optimism, self awareness, strength… Just an amazing track among many in just a magnificent new release that doesn’t play it safe sonically or lyrically.
