A Rather Mediocre Genius A Rather Mediocre Genius
One of the best math rock records and bands around. Vocal melodies are on point, and I love how chords and tapping is integrated into one flowing melody. Generally some of my favourite guitarwork ever. It's crazy good to listen to purely on a sonic level.

    Bound Bound
Absolutely phenomenal. One of the very very few times I teared up listening to music. The strings pull everything together really well. There were a few tracks that, to be honest, I don't particularly like, but the positives more than outweigh the negatives.
Really looking forward to another release.
  5. Castellate
    by Curtains
    Alloquy Alloquy
Feels overwhelming and extreme without feeling like that atonal mood that hardcore music generally has.
Looking forward to a full release.

The Water is the Colour of the Sky The Water is the Colour of the Sky
Probably one of my favorite recent records.
The screamed vocals sound more converge inspired, and I like it a lot. The balancing between screaming and clean vocals have gotten much better. Overall less dreary and sad then the other records which is pretty cool too, probably because of the increased tempo.
    Hoping for more soon!

The Wind Swept Away The Wind Swept Away
    Really fantastic stuff.
I went ahead and listened to Fires courting the sea, and found that the band were moving in their own direction, and creating something truly unique. I hope they come out with more releases in the future.
The last track is real good.

Bitter and Then Some Bitter and Then Some
One the best albums I've ever heard. 17 years hasn't put a dent in the quality of this record.
Jacob Bannon's screams are incredibly visceral and monstrous, yet to be beat by any other artist. The tracks flow from one to another real smooth, and is paced out perfectly. Even the 'chill' tracks keep the momentum going, making this an incredibly easy listen.
