Dig this album!... a slow, dark grind that weaves through ambient and heavy passages, all of it heavily melodic. The album winds its way to a peak with the final two tracks: “Sinaia” and “Quartered”, the latter of which draws the album to a massive close. Much like I’ve come to expect from Russian Circles, this album has an energy that commands your complete and undivided attention.
