Talk about a surprise of the year! This shook up my Top 5 list dramatically, sitting right below Black Crown Initiate, Luna's Call, and Haken. This album is chock full of incredibly catchy, yet technical, riffs. But most importantly, the songwriting on show here is absolutely spectacular. Every song flows, has it's own feel, and stands along on it's own. If you're a fan of heavy, groovy, metal then do yourself a favor and support this band by picking up this album. 10/10

This album currently sets in my #2 spot for album of the year, behind Haken's Virus and ahead of Black Crown Initiates Portraits of a Doomed Escape. The best way I can describe this album is to imagine if BTBAM tried to write an Opeth album. It's more technical, better structurally, and just has more memorable riffs. That said, it still sounds very much like Opeth in parts. Enceladus is just such a beautiful track, particularly in how the lyrics move with the melodies. Pick this album up ASAP!

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. While they def have their own sound the best way to describe them is if Gojira and Aggalloch had a baby. It will be hard for an album to take over this one for album of the year...maybe Tool?
