The Unreal vs The Real The Unreal vs The Real
This album captures the sonic scale and feeling that countless other bands have aimed to create with a fraction of the instrumentation. The amazing amount of color that is produced by these two individuals is staggering, and that it is delivered in a clean, cohesive, and groovy package is simply delightful.

    Sweet Tooth Sweet Tooth
It's difficult to put into words exactly how much I love this album and why. This isn't just an album released by some band. This is a sonic experience, just as all of Volcano's albums are. Perhaps this is my favorite because, to me, this album is the middle ground between the avant-garde and pop sensibility of this band. An amalgamation, if you will. Absolutely beautiful and entertaining.
  6. Beautiful Seizure

Red And White Bells Red And White Bells
Absolutely raw and powerful, yet subdued and practically whispering at times. The perfect musical representation of a volcano and the process of its eruption. One hell of a seizure.

St. Mary of Nazareth St. Mary of Nazareth
To see this band mature and develop its own sounds is simply amazing, and this album is no exception. The most accessible of their albums to date, this record is obsequious to the little details that make songs great, memorable, and perennial.
