It would be so easy for her to get away with blasting lush nothings over this music. But the lyrics put her heart on the line in every song. Which causes me to let mine out. That vulnerability mixed with her voice is powerful.
Cold, rhythmic grooves that you simply want to drive to or ride transit to at night. Mixed with vocal and distorted inhumanity in the background. Could not ask for more out of 46 minutes.
Delicious synth songs obviously by a child of the '80s, or an enthusiast of that era. I love how brief these EPs are, not a single one of them has anything of low quality.
