Dave Gilbert played all instruments and delivered vocals on the 2015 debut album Dark Matter. On Wood Lane, Dave collaborates with Gandalf's Fist drummer Stefan Hepe to deliver another slab of doomy Heavy Rock.
The addition of Stefan makes the sound more dynamic, producing a fine sounding album.
Mid-period Sabbath influences are to the fore with some progressive touches. The songs have crunching riffs, interesting vocals and there is a nice piano accompanied ballad.
