I perceived your great trust in me when you shared every unfinished/unmastered track on this tape with me only months after you began working on it. Seeing it in its final form, I have concluded that this tape is the proudest extension of yourself that I've ever seen. Aside from the fact that it is your own music, I find every track on it to be so synonymous with you; the solos, the tape charm, the bass thumps, and wistful lyrics+voice all repeat my brother's name throughout.

i have continually watched Pete churn out music, set personal standards and push past technical limits for ~a decade; this album is an impressive culmination of one of his various, expressive styles and his unique creative voice weathered by experiences and thoughts of a young lifetime.
