Few albums speak to me like this one. It's like Will Toledo somehow plugged my brain into a laptop and this album is what came out of it. You know what hasn't come out? Me from the closet
Please marry me Will.
I'm not sure if I can name another album that communicates emotion quite like this one, let alone one without a single word spoken. It's not something that I would want to listen to on a daily basis or put in a playlist, but it's one of the most unique and incredible musical experiences in recent memory (hehe).
Stepping boldly into the 21st century, this album is a beautiful recount of the anxiety of young adult life. It is easily Ben Gibbard's most understated album, a great showcase of Gibbard's writing style and Chris Walla's production.
