An amazing debut album for the italian band Under Siege. Its melodic death metal sonority keep it heavy while folk elements give it unique features, which is why their work is so original and particular in its genre. If you love artists as Amon Amarth, Ensiferum and Eluveitie you'll love Under Siege without any doubt.

Every track of it will take you through an epic journey, wandering forgotten lands upon far away times, you'll be dragged into majestic battlefields as a fierceful warrior of ancient ages. Like reading a legendary poem, the historical-war themes and ambientations will drive you into a time travel or, either, a fantasy, heroic tale, as your imagination desire!

Top tracks, in my opinion, are Sotto Assedio, One to Us and, last but not least, the wonderful ballad Bright Star of Midnight which add that "must have" romance element to the whole, glorious tale.
