    by Parabola West
Nowhere to be Found Nowhere to be Found
Parabola West has one of the more appropriate names in the music. You start off thinking you're on a straight line, but, almost unawares, it curves, and you look around and find yourself in a totally unexpected place.
Purity of Weakness is the latest and best example. It is a marvelously conceived and executed roller coaster ride (parabola again) through swirling mists, smoke and fire - lots of fire. But I promise it is worth the trip.

  7. The Realest Thing
    by Aryn Michelle
Aryn Michelle is a woman of many (many!) talents, but I think marketing is not one of them. She says "The Realest Thing is a concept album inspired by the book Reasonable Faith by William Lane Craig." I say it is a beautiful, stylish trip that expands your mind until your head hurts. Sample lyric:
"Maybe the realest things are things like hope and love and peace
The realest things are things you believe"
Try it, you'll like it on so many levels.

This pair are nothing short of auditory magicians. They take the minimum of raw materials - mostly voices and guitar - and weave a fabric of pure delight.

  20. The Trap
    by AMANOVA
Very good! Nice contrast between the sweet, whispering vocal and the ominous lyrics. Excellent arrangement with a suitably evil sounding bass line. This takes me back to my youth when I was - almost - trapped by a scheming woman. Funny, she had red hair. Hmm ...
