The dialogue with life starts with having a sincere dialogue with yourself. This album sure sounds like that kind of dialogue. It's thought-provoking, absolutely personal, and full of pure energy of an amazing human being. I was waiting for this album for a long time and it came right in the perfect moment into my own life, giving me even more strength to go on, and I'm grateful for that! That's the music that helped me become who I am.

Nothing Is Promised Nothing Is Promised
When I first heard the preview on SoundCloud on the fly, it didn't quite catch-up with me, but now, when I played the whole album, I feel the same emotions and the same energy that Pretty Lights' early albums from 2008-2009 made me feel, and these, IMO, were his most energetic ones. But this album right here still has the Krooked Drivers' identity, and I really like the way it sounds, it's really fresh and funky. Definitely gonna bump it in my iPhone a lot!

As I loved the original Glaciers album, I also love the Melted edition, it adds some more depth to the surreal and thoughtful atmosphere of the original. By the way, the bonus tracks are fantastic and I just can't get enough of it! Strongly recommended!

I first bumped into Damu's stuff about 5 or 6 years ago, I think, and it's really great to see someone staying true to the style like that, to the very nature of their perception. Musicians like Damu or Dday One, for example, carry the torch for this art of the rhythm. Thank you for doing you, Damu!
