I love every song Katie writes or covers, but "Red Flowers" on this album is one of my top songs of all times, counting everything. It's a bolt of lightning.

I think people sleep on the great later stuff of TMBG. Check out "Let's Get This Over With", track one of "I Like Fun," for a delightful bop.

The latest from Man Man (as of July 2020) -- like Tom Waits, but ... more joyful? Stunning. The lyrics are bleak, but the tunes soar. There's an optimism in their sound that cannot be suppressed.
