This is some brilliant death/doom with skull-crushing parts as well as an eerie ritualistic atmosphere. They've nailed the sound to perfection here and the music that they've created is flawless.
Dwelling Below play some of the sickest death/doom music. It's dark, dissonant and haunting, and what's more the entire album is improvised and yet it sounds remarkably coherent and addictive. Genius.
Thorn have perfected the art of merging the heavier parts of death metal with the doomier, atmospheric ones. The result is a crushing yet breathtaking album that has the best of both worlds.
