This is a great and solid Toronto rock record. There's hard rock and folk overtones with a wonderful atmospheric quality to the vocals that feels transporting.
There's amazing minimalist instrumentation/arrangements here with intimate vocals. "A Glass of Right and Wrong" has beautiful brush drumming with friendly acoustic guitar and a Parisian accordian.
I just heard of these two through a magazing I got at a record shop. I think they have an amazing blend of experimentalism and pop that I previously doubted could be possible. I was wrong.
