Candy Claws has a great sound. It's ethereal, and at times is like the aural equivalent of a child's fantasy land. Breezy, buoyant synths give way to Beach Boys inspired melodies. Excellent.
Swearin's self-titled record is confident, yet at the same time bratty and immature. All great qualities! Songs like 'Here To Hear' and 'Kenosha' explore youthful angst and 'Crashing' is an anthem.
Delightful experimental psych-pop band. Soaring vocals intertwine with sun-blasted, futuristic sounds. There is a great mixture of slow burners and vignettes resulting in a concise, marvelous record.
