You can't understate the intense emotion of this band. You need to read the lyrics while you listen. One of the handful of times I've cried when first hearing a song was track 11. A punch in the gut.
Throat-shredding goodness for fans of Glassjaw and At The Drive-In. If these guys stuck around long enough to put out an LP, it would've been one of those watershed moments for sure. This still rules.
"Repeat Defender" is the best 11 minutes of my life every time I hear it. Easily the best Math Rock album of all time, a prime example of how great combining Math Rock and Post-Hardcore can be.
