When I saw the description of "prog rock and metal" I was intrigued, but I didn't expect something this good. Even listening to just the two tracks available before the full release, I'm reminded incredibly strongly of classic Rush, from the Permanent Waves era, and that's the strongest compliment I can give to prog rock! But these tracks add something more, some minor yet forceful difference, and I can't recommend The Mountain strongly enough!
