Albion by Harp sounds both traditional, (early British folk: think Fairport Convention,classic Ian Matthews and Sandy Denny), yet updated with modern production and instruments, Standout tracks, "I Am the Seed"and album opener, "The Pleasant Gray". bear hallmarks of traditional English and Celtic influence; "Shining Spires" favorably compares to Fleet Foxes.
This is an album rich in heritage and originality. Great sophomore effort!
