    Cherry Blossom Cherry Blossom
This album could be an anthology of popular music styles of the U.S.A. in the 60s and 70s. Only Paolo's destinctive voice shows too clearly that it is one artist who does it all, and with gusto. Everything with a slight Nutin i twist on it. I still love the inclusion of the "Great Dictator" speech in Iron Sky, the first Nutini song I ever heard.
  19. Last Night In The Bittersweet
    by Paolo Nutini
    Desperation Desperation
This is like a journey through British music of the 70s and 80s. Progressive Rock, singer/songwriter, Scottish Folk Revival, New Wave, echoes of Paul Young and Rod Stewart. All iced over with occasional electrosounds and tied together by Paolo's extremely versatile lead vocals. Clear or distorted, with variing impact of Scottish accent. If you like older rollercoasters, the ones operating with frequent speed and direction changes rather than sweeping high speed curves, this album is for you.
  20. The Red Room (Album)
    by James Harker
Nowhere To Hide Nowhere To Hide
Deep lyrics, fine vocals and beautiful arrangements. Sometimes reminds me of the later work of Joe Jackson. Some songs are hollywoodesque, conjuring up scenes of lost movies that somehow never made it to the silver screen, but probably should have.
