    Rememory Rememory
This is a very powerful, melodic metal that marries the styles of Sun Caged, Lord of Mushrooms, Subsignal and Symphony X with great baroque counterpointed guitar/bass melodic riffs, that don’t sound baroque at all, spiced with some super-heavy, half-time headbanger riffs. And when you think you have already had a blast, the band closes the album by smashing a 21-minute epic in your face.

The boys have delivered an album full of experimental heavy and grungy rock. The song-writing is just perfect, and the true-to-the-mic production makes many of the modern, over-produced bands seem like the audio equivalent of a flat beer. Aperture, followed by Upon Reflection are my favourites, because one can hear the smiles of joy while the band was playing this complicated stuff!

    The Departure The Departure
The debut by this one-man band was one of America’s best hidden secrets. However we will make sure This instrumental work brings old and brand new prog styles together, with jazz, fusion, classical and brass, in a way almost as wild as FreddeGredde does it. A wild, but not exhausting tour de force through styles, which is most rewarding when listened to with full attention.
  8. Solar Storm
    by Rendezvous Point

    Mirrors Mirrors
Best newcomer in 2015 in prog metal. This debut is almost as strong as Haken's Aquarius. Features shooting star Baard Kolstad (Leprous, Borknagar).
  9. Neanderthal Nein
    by Meandering Mine

Deus Ex Machina Deus Ex Machina
Another extremely strong debut in 2015. Defying genre descriptions and song structures, this album spirals through almost all modern genres like a roller coaster.
