Truant for me finds Burial working at his peak. He no longer feels the need to work within the limits an album is supposed to have, so he's free to roam inside his talented creative mind and share what he finds there with all of us. There's a section inside Truant where you can hear him working on a tune, putting it aside and starts working on a new one while the other plays in the background. It's his definitive statement, and a privilege to be able to listen it.
