This is definitely the darkest entry in Godflesh's catalogue. It features less vocals and more emphasis on the band's signature sound peppered with G.C. Green's thunderous low end bass. Newcomers may be confused by the band's unconventional music with nonexistent verse and chorus but Godflesh isn't about the hook, it's about ambiance.
