  1. an untitled extended play that you can call "Break Up"
by Far Out And Back Again
    [sleep] over [sleep] over
"[sleep] over" could become one of my favorite atmospheric songs of the year, it gives you time and space to lay in the dark sorrow it creates and allows your mind to paint your own darkness upon its canvas. the rest of the album is on par and complimentary and is a treat for any willing to open their mind to dive into what it offers

  3. Like Twisted Bones of Fallen Giants
    by Hollow Woods
  4. Stranger Times
    by Vulture Industries
This is one of the best and most under rated alternative/quirky/rock/catchy/unique albums to come out of the 2010's, give it a shot and then give it another shot because it deserves the time it takes to reveal it glory upon you
  5. Every Day ||| Galaxies Away
by Far Out And Back Again
A well executed, very well thought out, enjoyable whilst being unique ear worm. A worthwhile experience to re-experience multiple times. Heart in music form. Sorrow in music form. Art in music form. Music more for the encouraged seekers rather than the lap-up feeders.
  6. Comfort & Joy
    by Mythos Lore
IV.................( HORUS ) IV.................( HORUS )
it is too bad that this album/band is often unsearchable on bandcamp, I think some people might enjoy what this album has to offer if they could ever find it, maybe, maybe not, who knows.
  7. Yonder
by Far Out And Back Again
Exploration in art has become less valued today, it is great when an artist refuses to stop exploring, This artist is one of those artists.

Yonder explores less traveled paths, yet is also an enjoyable listen, mysterious vocals, dark atmospheres that collide with hopeful melodies, interesting and solid bass can all be found here.

If you have had your fill of the sterile norm, give yonder a listen, maybe it will be the open window to this side of the art world you need in your life.
  8. anti - life
    by Prophet Isaiah
    Are you an expert epigone?
Are you pious to team blue?
Are you pious to team red?
Are you pious to team god?
Are you an insufferable tribal prick?

well, If any of those shoes fit this EP might not be for you, but it might just be about you
  9. WoduridaR
    by Helheim
Helheim have combined a perfect blend of the different paths they have taken throughout their career into this cohesive, expertly sequenced, aoty contender work of art. If you have fallen off the Helheim train as of late, I highly recommend jumping back on. This might just be their finest work to date. Plus they cover Richard Marx, which is just.....awesome
  10. Inlet
    by Hum
I often long for the imagination that my youth mind use to conjure up whilst soaking in the albums that inspired me. Turns out my old mind is perfectly capable of youthful imagination when given fuel as inspirationally potent as this album produces. On track to be my favorite Hum album.
  11. Neptune
    by yaw guts
honest, raw, emotional, real, and therefore refreshing
  12. BLACKSHAPE
    by BLACKSHAPE
The art and skill of writing a proper album has increasingly become lost and harder to come by in todays instant gratification climate.

We are lucky to have BLACKSHAPE, they have created a beautiful, haunting, supernatural, imaginative, and artful expression that showcases the rewards a listener can experience when digesting a proper album that is done this well.

    For fans of music

Favorite track: maximum reward is given by listening to the whole thing as one
  13. Child Soldier: Creator of God
    by Greg Puciato
Such an enjoyable and creatively diverse listen, sequenced perfectly, simultaneously nostalgic and fresh whilst showcasing how to evolve extreme music in a.pleasing and promising direction
  14. Speech Impediment
    by Truman Goulash
Lunch pail wordsmith, sweaty riffs, 'n' fisticuff beats
  15. Flowers of Evil
    by Ulver
ULVER being ULVER, what more could you ask for..
  16. All Visible Objects
    by moby
Gives me the feels that my favorite moby albums do, so yeah, it is a yes for me. Still proud and grateful to be part of the nobody that listen to moby.
  17. Mestarin kynsi
    by Oranssi Pazuzu
This album surrounds you and sucks you down into a bog you never thought you would enjoy being suffocated by, yet here you are enjoying the warm comfort of your brain melting. Really great stuff
  18. Also sprach Futura
    by Lychgate
    Vanity Ablaze Vanity Ablaze
    Yup, this is great.

They could have literally played the section at 3:11-3:33 in the song "Vanity Ablaze" forever and I would't have complained, one of the most inspiring and epic moments I have ever heard in a song.
  19. Hail Horror Hail 恐怖万岁
    by Sigh
sigh being sigh back when the world wasn't as ready for it, one of their best albums.
  20. First Night Back in Port
    by Ye Banished Privateers
This is a great time, with heartfelt moments woven throughout!
