The Hound (Ritual) The Hound (Ritual)
I'm going to see these guys on 6/2 so this is an awesome prelude of live doom!

    Slave Cylinder Slave Cylinder
I just saw these guys last night and, Damn! How could I not buy the album after such a musical hammering! I cannot say enough, if you like Hendrix inspired jam sessions that transport in and out of Valhalla, Hell, and reality all in the same song- this one's for you!!!
  6. ISM Demo

    by Sergeant Thunderhoof
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Goat Mushroom Goat Mushroom
I'm a little late to the party on this one, but damn! Great heavy, fuzzy, spacey sound- I like the Thunder Hoof!

  10. You People Never Learn...
    by Sonic Mass
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Tears of Galactus Tears of Galactus
Just plain talented and heavy ta boot! Technical doom/fuzz reminiscent of The Sword's first couple of albums but definitely a sound of their own. Good stuff!
  11. Precious Bones
    by Kroh
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Precious Bones Precious Bones
Only two songs but fuzzy ass heavy slow guitar with deceptively angelic vocals- great combination!
  12. Living Water
    by Kroh
    Living Water Living Water
Only one song, but I think I prefer it over Precious Bones, which is damned good in its own right.
  13. Absolution
    by Khemmis
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Serpentine Serpentine
Just crushing doom, really. Oh, and throw in "some" haunting melodic vocals, with harmonies, and were looking at an intense group of guys that demand a listen. And oh yeah, the vocals fly in low and gravely like a trash can lid scraping lava often enough to be quality doom.
  14. Destroyer of Light
    by Destroyer of Light
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Greet Death Greet Death
I was lucky enough to catch these guys open for Wino and Spirit Caravan. When they kicked in, the room seemed to get a little darker. Solid DOOM!
  15. TOKE
    by Toke
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Toke is the heaviest sledge hammer in the toolbox. Low, slow, and brutally efficient!
  16. Magmakammer
    by Magmakammer
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
I Am The Reaper I Am The Reaper
Trudging through soot & cotton: unearthly. The old movie intros are fun and don't take away from the seriously digressiveness of this three song offering.
  17. Demo
    by Dark Mother
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Mother Mary Mother Mary
So slow, so fuzzy so good so far. I'm with Steve Rodger, I really want to see what's next.
  18. Black Titan
    by Hexenjäger
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Dark Lord's Crusade Dark Lord's Crusade
  19. Bring Out Your Dead
    by Pesta
    featured track 00:00/00:00
    Black Death Black Death
  20. Stoned At The Throne
    by Greenbeard
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Swimming in the Grass Swimming in the Grass
Kyuss, sure, absolutely. And there is nothing wrong at all if it stops there. But Greenbeard's sound crushes into other strata from that original desert heartbeat. They have come into their own sound, expression, and existence with "Stoned at the Throne."
